The Hereditary Witch

You were born into witchcraft, it’s in your blood. Your family tested your talent early and found it potent, and have since raised you in their ways of magic. But lately your magic has been faltering, spells going awry or failing altogether, and you wonder how other witch families feel out and funnel the flow of magic differently. Your family cannot or will not help, for they know only Our Way. Without your magic, what are you? 

Can you find a way to restore your magic, or are you doomed to lose it forever?

You can scarcely remember the witch you were before you crossed the hedge. You have traveled to otherworlds and altered states, bringing back insights, stories, signs and messages to share with those who needed them for decades. You have met other witches there and performed powerful spells and rituals. But hedge riding can be dangerous and unpredictable magic for the mind, spirit, and the body. There have been costs, and losses, and to more than just yourself. 

Can you find peace with the path you have taken, or will it continue to haunt you until the end?
